My First Review...

I just received the first review for Sacred Talisman. Here's what Dawn of Love, Romance and More had to say...

SACRED TALISMAN is the first book centered on talismans and the power it holds. Ms. Norris does a wonderful job weaving a story around the reader that they totally forget their surroundings and become involved in the mystery behind Terryn’s Talisman. I loved the dynamics between Terryn and Rafe, especially as the sexual tension strumming between them is so hot it almost melts the screen. There are many twists and turns to keep the reader captivated and flipping the page to see what happens next. Ms. Norris deftly weaves her story of vampires, powerful talismans and simmering passion with an ease of her keystrokes in SACRED TALISMAN. With some intriguing secondary characters, this author kept me glued to the pages, eager for more... If you haven’t picked up SACRED TALISMAN, then do so. It is a different paranormal story that will keep you glued to the edge of your seat.

If you'd like to read the entire review, click on the link above. Thanks to Dawn for making my first review experience a pleasurable one.

Cheers,
Kris

Better Late...

Wow. What a couple of days. Unfortunately, I'm way behind in my posts. So, I'll throw a bit of Centrefold at you today and try to get some of Checkmate out tomorrow.

I made a new book trailer for Centrefold. Take a lookie and then check out the juicy excerpt after.

video

Scarlet sighed, relaxing back against the rim of the tub. She’d just spent another day romping around in clothes that would make a hooker blush and shoes she was certain were used for torture in the middle ages. And if that wasn’t enough, she’d had to endure two hours of group photo shoots, forcing a smile every time the new photographer cupped her breasts, trying to make more of them spill out above the lip of her Christmas red bustier. She’d thought Aiden was going to pummel the guy through the wall, especially when he’d asked if she’d like to join him for a threesome. She’d declined—she had her own threesome to contend with—but she’d gotten a strange feeling when the man had nodded and watched her leave, her hands wrapped around two chiselled forearms.

Then they’d spent the next four hours scoping the mansion, chatting up the women and searching for clues. Roman had managed to sweet talk one of the maids into allowing him a quick glance at Glade’s office, but nothing they’d found had turned up any leads. Now they were banished to their rooms while Glade prepared his usual extravagant dinner. God, she hoped the man wasn’t planning a spanking contest or she just might need another bath.

Scarlet smiled at the thought, dragging her tired body from the water. She still wasn’t sure how to take the sudden change in lifestyle. Admitting her love for Roman was easy, but her feelings for Aiden confused the hell out of her. She wasn’t one to believe in fairy tales or magic, but every time he smiled at her, or ran a gentle hand along her thigh, butterflies fluttered to life in her stomach and her chest tightened. It was the greatest high she’d ever experienced, and somehow, walking away didn’t feel like an option anymore.

“This is one crazy Christmas,” she said, grabbing a towel. She fisted the door, cracking it open only to have the breath rush from her chest. Aiden leaned against the wall, naked, muscles rippling, head pressed back as pleasure twisted his expression. His lips were pursed together. His eyes clenched shut. He’d tangled his fingers through Roman’s hair, as the man moved between his legs, feasting on his cock as if he’d never tasted anything quite as delicious.

“Oh. My.”

The words sprang from her lips and she hadn’t realised she’d spoken until both sets of eyes turned in her direction. Roman pulled back, allowing Aiden’s shaft to slip from his mouth, the heavy length held like a sword in his hand. His lips were wet and swollen, and just the sight of them pooled liquid between her thighs. She moved towards their outstretched hands, linking her fingers through theirs.

Aiden planted a hot, wet kiss on her lips before moving to her neck, nibbling at the sensitive spot behind her ear. She arched into him, meeting Roman’s heated stare.

“I’ve been wondering. Do you both…” she waved her hand at their erect shafts. “Give and receive?”

Aiden chuckled against her skin, making it prickle. “I didn’t take you as the shy type, baby.”

“I’m not shy, it’s just…Fine. Do you both fuck each other’s ass?”

“Roman prefers to be the one fucking, but yes, we both fuck each other.” He raised his eyebrow. “How does that make you feel?”

“Curious.” She stepped back and waved at the bed. “Show me.”

Roman pushed up, trapping her against Aiden’s chest. “Pardon me?”

“You heard me, Roman. I want you to show me.” She trailed her fingers down his chest, scrapping his skin until she circled his cock. “I’m still trying to wrap my head around how I fit into all this. You love each other, but you say you love me…”

“We do love you,” he interrupted, framing her face with his hands. “You’re not just a toy to us. You’re our soul. A fact these past few days has made very apparent.”

“Then let me share what you feel for each other.” She tilted her head against Aiden’s chest, allowing him to tug the towel free. “Please. I need this.”

The men exchanged a look, and she wasn’t certain they’d conceded until Aiden nipped at her neck, urging her forward with a pat on her ass. “All right. But it’ll cost you. We’ll let you watch, but next time, it’ll be you between both of us.”

Thanks for watching and reading....

Well, this is looking to be possibly the biggest week ever! For me, anyway. I have two releases coming out this week. Tomorrow, Centrefold hits the electronic shelves as part of TEB's Christmas Crackers collection. Then, on Tuesday, Checkmate debuts over on Resplendence Publishing. It's my first release with RP and I couldn't be more thrilled.

I'd love for you to mosey on over and take a peek. I'll post an excerpt for Centrefold tomorrow and Checkmate on Tuesday.

It's Friday Flash Time...

Hey all. Well it's Friday again, so I'm trying to keep up with the Friday Flash. Here's a bit of December cheer for you...

She smiled at him, rising from the floor. He didn’t give her time to kiss his open mouth, but turned her in his arms, and lowered her onto the bed. She opened her legs the moment her ass touched the mattress, releasing a waft of warm arousal into the air. He groaned at the scent. Eating pussy was one of his favorite pleasures, and hers was more than tempting.

“You are wet, baby,” he mused, drawing a finger through her silky folds. “Good thing I’m hungry.” He spread her legs farther apart, wanting to see every inch of her plump lips as his fingers disappeared into her tight sex. “Reach down and hold yourself open, so I can use my fingers for other pleasures.”

“Why do you like watching me touch myself so much?” she asked, a hint of irritation in her voice. But even as she posed the question, her fingers slid down her stomach and eased between her lips, pulling them apart.

“Are you kidding?” he moaned. “Nothing is sexier than watching a woman touch her pussy while you lick it clean. It’s erotic.”

Sorry this is a bit late, but hey, that seems to be my style lately. Have a great weekend.

Aye, Matie, I Have Arrived...

Well, I suppose as of today I am officially an author. Yes folks, my first book has arrived on the Pirate shelves of scum-laden websites that feign ignorance, all the while promoting and yes, supporting, ebook piracy.

I'm not sure whether this means my books are good or are they're just convenient. Another token someone thought they'd post. It seems Deadly Vision has caught at least one reader's eye as that special someone has uploaded it as a free download.

So what have I done?

Well, after a rather direct and nasty letter to the user involved, an abuse file made on the site and a file created with the F.B.I.'s crime centre, I've sat here fuming. Not so much that someone thought to share the book, but at the pure selfishness and cruelty of the human race. Since when did folks think that sharing books for free was okay. Who neglected to tell them that piracy is a crime, whether it's uploading music, videos or books? Didn't these folks have parents who frowned upon such theft? My sure did. And I have yet to pirate a song or book. Yes, I'm one of those people who buy their ipod songs from itunes and gladly fork out the equivalent of a cup of java for a good book. But it seems some people don't feel as I do.

So, I'd like to take this opportunity to thank all the readers who do so legitimately. Who spend the five dollars to enjoy their books. I appreciate the loyalty of these folks and commend them for standing above the crowd. Your readership is paramount to all writers.

As for the pirates of the world? I can only believe that with vigilance, they'll receive their just rewards...a rather hefty fine and time behind bars. Either way, it is a war worth fighting.

Regards,
Kris

Deadly Vision Book Trailer...

Instead of doing a bunch of work that's long overdo, I decided to play on the computer and make my second book trailer. This time it's for Deadly Vision, my second release with Total-e-Bound and my first full-length novel. Once again, I made it with iMovie (gotta love Macs) using some images from 123rf.com and music by the talented Kevin MacLeod at incompetech.com. Many thanks to Lyn Taylor for the awesome cover art on this book.

I hope you like it. Take a look...

I'll be working on more trailers for both Centrefold and Checkmate, both coming out in December, so stay tuned.

Flash Fiction Friday...

I've just been alerted there's this thing called Flash Fiction Friday. A number of authors write a small snippet of a sexy scene and then post it with links to all the other authors who have done the same thing. Now I know I'm late for this, but it's been a crazy day and I'm just now getting the time. So here's my little fiction tidbit.

Cody stood beside the bed, naked except for the beads of sweat flushing his skin. His muscles were drawn tight, his thighs shaking, as his date slipped her warm lips around his smooth flesh, drawing it deep into her mouth. She had a way of relaxing her throat and taking most of his length all the way back, before sliding forward, licking his sensitive flesh as she retreated, keeping only his crown trapped in her velvet heat. It felt amazing.

“You like that, cowboy?”

He answered with a low growl, knowing the sound aroused her. She knelt in front of him, her short blonde hair bobbing back and forth around her face as she moved along the length of his shaft. But she kept her knees wide, giving him more than a full view of her sex as she sucked his cock.

I hope you enjoyed the little quickie, lol. Here's hoping your Friday Flash was a pleasant and stimulating one.

Cheers,

Kris

Another Release Day!

Hello all,

Yes, it's finally here. The day of my first full novel release, Deadly Vision, is available at Total-e-Bound and I couldn't be more thrilled. I'm so happy I'm letting the kids play hookie so we can have a celebration day, lol.

Anyway, please jump on over to Total-e-Bound to see an excerpt and take a look at all the great new e-books.

And, of course, my big release day wouldn't be any fun without an excerpt. Here are the juicy details...

As As a 911 operator, Fallon Kinkade loves her job, but lately, it isn’t enough. And it doesn’t seem to keep the memories of her ex-lover, Gil, and the surreal last night she spent with him and his partner, Charlie, at bay. She still dreams of him every night, leaving hot, wet and so dame horny she could cry. She’d do anything to have one more night with him. But when the cities newest serial killer starts phoning her cell, and throws her headlong into the investigation, not to mention Gils’ arms, will she play the part of the duty-bound professional? Or will she do everything she can to ensure the killer isn’t the only one who’ll wear his handcuffs?

Federal Agent Gil Grant has only two problems. He can’t catch a break on his newest case, and he can’t forget Fallon. He remembers—in vivid detail—how he controlled the bedroom. But she’d never take him back…or would she. When a strange new twist reunites them, will he let his past keep him from showing her how much he still cares? Or will he finally take charge and remind her screaming isn’t only for when you’re afraid?

Hey, baby. Where are you?”

Fallon smiled at the sultry sound of Gil’s voice, feeling shivers tingle down her spine. “I just picked up dinner and was heading home. Is everything okay?”

“Fine, babe. I was just wondering if you’d mind if Charlie stopped by too? We’ve got a few things to go over before tomorrow.”

Fallon smiled. Gil just couldn’t let a case go once he got hooked on it. “Do you have my favourite?”

“A whole case of coolers…strawberry flavour.”

“Then tell Charlie I’ll see him soon,” she replied, laughing at the sigh that rumbled across the phone. “Race you home, Gil.”

Gil and Charlie were waiting in the driveway when she pulled in, a sly smile tilting both their lips. “It’s cheating when you use your siren, you know,” she scolded Gil, handing him the bags of food.

“Ah, you’re just sore you lost. Now quit squawking and get inside. I’m starving.”

Fallon leaned into the kiss Gil planted on her lips, letting her nipples graze against his shirt. He groaned and pressed harder, tasting the depths of her mouth before finally releasing her and heading into the house. Fallon smiled and turned, brushing a kiss across Charlie’s cheek as he held the door for her. She headed straight for the kitchen, grabbing plates and forks from the cupboard before heading back to the coffee table. Gil already had the cartons spread across the table, and barely waited until Fallon handed him a fork before digging into the food.

“Didn’t you guys eat lunch?” she joked, watching the men devour the food.

“Only had time to grab a sandwich outta the machine,” mumbled Gil around a mouthful of rice. He looked over at her, smiling slyly. “And as I recall, I was too busy this morning to get breakfast before I left.”

Fallon blushed, remembering how she’d caught Gil in the shower. He’d been covered in soap, shampoo slowly dripping down the curve of his jaw, as he’d turned towards the door, his eyes brooding. He’d watched her slowly step inside, the water washing down her body, trickling across her shoulders and down the valley between her breasts. His cock had lengthened along his stomach, pulsing with his increased breath, as he watched the water cover her stomach, finally soaking through the short hair covering her sex. She’d smiled at him, and pressed her body against his, as she’d licked the water rinsing over his neck. It’d tasted like him and she hadn’t been able to contain her groan of pleasure. Gil hadn’t even waited to see if she was ready before pushing her against the side of the shower and plunging his cock deep inside. She’d screamed out his name at the sudden intrusion, locking her heels around his tailbone as he pummelled into her, stealing her breath as he sent her into orgasm. He hadn’t stopped at her convulsions, but had merely hitched her legs higher, pulling her thighs farther apart as he’d slipped his finger around to the cleft of her ass, firmly thrusting his finger inside her tight pucker.

Fallon blushed even deeper, remembering the exquisite feel of his fingers up her ass. She’d never imagined anal play to be so exciting, and was thinking about having him take her there tonight. It wasn’t something they always did, but when the mood was right, it was one of the fastest ways to send her over the edge.

She smiled back at Gil, ignoring the hooded gaze he flashed her. “Is that a complaint, darling?” she teased. “’Cause I can rein it in, if you’re not…” She let her eyes travel down the length of his body, resting on his crotch as she continued. “… up to it.”

Gil’s eyes darkened as she watched his erection bulge against his jeans. “Don’t worry, Fallon. I’ll show you later just how…up…to it I am.”

Hope you enjoyed reading. If you'd like more pop on over to Total-e-Bound or My Website. You'll find different excerpts and all the information.

Thanks,

Release Day!!!

Hey all.

Well, after what feels like an eternity, it's finally here. My first book release, Sacred Talisman is out today with Total-e-Bound. For those of you who don't know, Sacred Talisman is part of the Voracious Vamps collection and is the first book in my vampire series, Dark Prophecy. I'd love for you to check it out, either by clicking on the links in the blog or by the image on the right. I'm also being interviewed at Bronwyn's Blog today. Bronwyn Green is a fabulously talented author and one of my favourite erotica writers. Please jump on over and have a read. But in the meantime, here's the blurb and a new excerpt for Sacred Talisman.

After roaming the earth for five hundred years, Rafe's life is about to begin.

Rafe isn’t your ordinary vampire. He’s an Enforcer—a vampire created for the sole purpose of guarding a sacred talisman and preventing its power from being unleashed on the world. There’s just one problem. He has absolutely no idea how to find it.

The last thing Terryn expected was to have a handsome stranger come to her rescue when some creep drags her into an alley on Halloween. With blond hair, blue eyes and a body rivaling every wet dream she’s ever imagined, she can’t help but wish her hero would keep her pinned to the wall. Too bad she doesn’t do one-night stands. But when the guy claims her necklace is an ancient talisman, and it’s his job to protect it, she’s launched into a world of prophecies and vampires, and discovers sex with the undead is hotter than her wildest dreams.

Now if they can only survive the night, and prevent a hoard of rogue vampires from claiming the pendant’s power, life—or even death—might just get interesting.

Excerpt

Rafe groaned into her ear, feeling her body melt against his. Desire pounded through him, and for a moment, it felt as if his heart thundered in his chest. He drew a deep breath, drinking in the faint aroma of rain on her skin, mixed in with a soft floral scent. But both paled next to the sweet, earthy tang of her arousal. It hung in the air like a fine mist, drenching his senses until her flavour was etched into his memory. He closed his eyes, willing the beast within him to stand down. Ever since the first pulse of energy had doused his skin, he’d felt submersed in a red haze of desire. Every moment her body trembled against his seemed like an eternity of waiting until the instant he could strip her down and feel the soft press of skin on skin.

Centuries had passed without this type of wanting. Hell, he’d never desired a woman with such single-minded intent. He’d had his share of lovers, but it’d always seemed hollow, desolate, like he was trying to fill a vessel full of holes.

Not Terryn. Everything about her healed the spaces in his withered heart, bringing back a sense of humanity he’d lost on the eve of his death. One he’d never expected to feel again, especially from a woman brimming with innocence. The very scent of her skin enthralled him, drawing him into a mindless craze, begging him to bind her soul to his.

He clenched his jaw, inching one hand up to cup her breast. It swelled at his touch, the nipple pebbled against the thin lace of her bra. He could picture it clearly in his mind, and knew the tip would turn a pale shade of purple as she neared her climax. A low gasp filled his head as he tweaked the small bud between his fingers.

He growled, spinning her in his arms, pushing the wet jacket from her shoulders, smiling at the sound of if dropping on the floor. Her shirt went next, followed by her pants. She stared at him in shocked surprise as the last of her clothes joined the others, and she stood before him perfectly naked.

Rafe pulled her body against his, fisting her hair as he tilted her head back, exposing the sleek line of her neck. The pendant pulsed against her skin, the purple hue reflecting along her throat. He watched the quick flutter of her heartbeat throb below her skin, the rhythmic movement making his head spin. His conscience warned him this wasn’t to place to indulge in even a fleeting taste of her blood, consent or not, and he reined in the beast once again.

He locked his eyes on hers, noting how black they looked in the harsh light. “I’m but a breath away from making your fantasies a reality.” He moved in closer, drawing his lips over hers, licking at their fullness. “If this isn’t what you want, say it now. For once I start, I’ll be powerless to stop.” He dragged his tongue along her collarbone, ending with an opened mouth kiss on the tip of her shoulder. His fangs twitched, but he kept control, calming the creature with the knowledge he’d be licking her sweet pussy all too soon. The beast pouted, but stayed hidden.

Terryn moaned, arching into him. “But what about the cameras? I thought…”

“They’d only be able to see you?” His lips kicked up into a bemused smile. “I happen to know they don’t use film, sweet thing. They only watch. And with today’s technology, they’ll get an eyeful…of both of us.”

A beautiful shade of pink hued her skin as her eyes darted around the room. He could feel her nervousness. Not at the thought of having him bind her to the bed, but at the realisation others would be watching them. He leaned forward, dropping another hot kiss at the base of her neck. “I could break the door down, but it’ll bring more trouble than we need, and I have a feeling I should save my strength. They’ll be plenty of fighting before the night is done, and I don’t want to weaken myself with mere mortals.” He pulled back one last time. “And I can’t shift us out of here. Despite what myths are out there, I can’t move through walls. So answer my question. Shall I stop?”

Terryn cried out as he wedged his thigh between her legs, rubbing her clit against his muscles. She closed her eyes and tilted her hips, increasing the contact as her teeth clenched tight. He brought his lips down on hers, a low growl warning her to answer. She opened her eyes, catching his gaze. “Don’t stop.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed the excerpt. Please feel free to drop me a line or visit my website for more tantalizing tidbits.

Cheers,

Kris Norris

Busy, busy, busy...

Wow, is it really the middle of October already? I swear the kids just started school last week! But no, days are zipping by and I'm so busy with school and trying to edit an incredibly long book, I don't have time to do much more than sleep... and I only get a few hours of that a night.

So, I realize this is all long over do, but I thought I'd announce some news and post an excerpt of my first short story being released in just nine days! Yes, you heard me... NINE days. On October 26th Sacred Talisman will grace the virtual bookshelves as my first release with TEB. And I couldn't be more excited.

Here's a taste of what's inside this awesome cover...

Sacred Talisman

Seasonal/Vampire/Paranormal
Short Story
ISBN# 978-907280-34-4
Rated - Total e-burning

After roaming the earth for five hundred years, Rafe’s life is about to begin.

With blonde hair, blue eyes and a body rivaling every wet dream she’s ever imagined, she can’t help but wish her hero would keep her pinned to the wall.

Excerpt:

Terryn panicked. The feral look in Rafe’s eyes, the dark energy that rolled off his skin in visible waves overwhelmed her desire and she took off running. A hallway only a few steps away marked salvation. She darted down it, a harsh growl shadowing her footsteps as she tumbled against the first door, shouldering it open and slamming it shut behind her. A loud click echoed through the room as she backed away, not sure how she’d locked it, but aware she’d succeeded in sealing her escape. She released her breath in an audible rasp, crossing her arms on her chest as she stared at the door, waiting.

“If this is your idea of keeping an open mind, I’m afraid we’re at an impasse.”

Terryn shrieked, pivoting towards the voice behind her, losing her balance when Rafe stepped forward. His fingers gripped her arm, preventing her from crashing to the floor as she stared at him, mouth gaped open, breath stalled in her chest. “But…the door…how?”

Words collided in her head, a surge of fear dipping the room. Rafe’s chest connected with her cheek as he pulled her against him, cradling the back of her head with one hand as the other snaked around her waist.

“Breathing might help,” he said.

She took his advice, noting how his equally hard cock pressed against her stomach as her chest pushed into his. “Oh. My. God.” It was little more than a whisper, but it sounded loud in the stillness.

“I’ve been called many things, but God isn’t one of them.” His smile greeted her as he pulled back. “And before you ask, no, I can’t fly. Not in the sense you’re thinking. It’s more of a shift through time. But it’s equally effective.”

She could only nod, her throat too dry to speak. He was a vampire—a blood and flesh vampire. The undead. She let her head fall back, intending to close her eyes, but what greeted her stopped her cold. Three large mirrors decorated the ceiling, casting a clear reflection of the room. A large bed she hadn’t noticed took up most of the space, with only a chair visible in another corner. But it was her image that shocked her, because it was just that—her image. Just her. Her arms curled around an invisible force, her chest pressed against nothing, as her hair swayed across her shoulder, the result of Rafe’s hand stroking the length. He sighed as her gaze met his.

“Convinced?”

“Yes,” was all she managed when he released her, cursing as he surveyed the room.

“Of all the places you could’ve run, sweet thing, this was by far your worst choice.” He moved to the door—or did he just appear at it—and tried the handle. “Fuck.” He turned to face her. “Do you know why the door locks behind you?”

She glanced at it, shaking her head.

“Because it prevents the clients from leaving until they’ve given the owner a good show.”

She stared at him, completely confused, before following his gaze towards the bed. What she hadn’t noticed in the reflection was the set of restraints chained to the headboard, the shinny leather dark against the white frame. She looked back at Rafe.

“That’s right. It’s a sex room. This one tends towards bondage, though I don’t think it’s a requirement.” His lips kicked up into a sly grin. “There are cameras mounted throughout the room, just in case you were thinking we could sneak out.”

“So the only way to get the door unlocked is…”

“To fuck,” he finished.

Terryn was sure her mouth dropped open as she focused on the restraints. The leather was black and smooth, and she had a fleeting image of it wrapped around her wrists, her naked body splayed out across the bed. She could see her hair tussled across her shoulder, her back flexing in pleasure as Rafe mounted her from behind, his shaft piercing her wet flesh as the muscles in her ass jumped from the impact of his groin against hers.

A soft moan trembled across her lips and she dipped her tongue out to moisten them. She went to turn when Rafe pressed his body against her back, his hands capturing her waist.

“I can see your thoughts. The way you imagine your body moving beneath mine, your hands bound in front of you. It’s not the first time you wondered about how it’d be between us. How well I could pleasure you. You can try and fight it, but in the end, our mating has already been foretold.”

She tried to shake her head, but the images returned. Rafe driving into her, one hand stroking the tiny knot of nerves in her slit as the other spanked her ass until it turned a deep shade of red. She tried to free herself, but could only take what he gave her, the bands around her wrists and feet immobilising her.

Terryn squeezed her eyes shut, hoping to drive the erotic pictures from her head, as Rafe’s warm breath feathered across her nape, dampening her panties with her slick dew. Her head lolled to one side, loving the feel of his lips across her skin, his tongue hot against her neck. Again she felt like he was tasting her, gathering her essence on his tongue so he could identify each individual element that mixed together to form her unique feminine scent. A calm settled inside as the pendant grew warm on her skin, matching the heated feel of Rafe’s tongue. She leaned into him, one word whispering from her lips.

“Yes.”

In other news, I'm pleased to announce my Christmas release, Centrefold, has been accepted to be part of TEB's Christmas Cracker Collection!!!! I'd been keeping my fingers and toes crossed, so it looks like it panned out for me. Also, I've just signed another contract with Resplendence Publishing for another full length novel, working title Hard Target, due out late next year. I'm very excited about this as Hard Target is the first novel I ever wrote and is the last one I've tried to get published. It holds a special place and perhaps has a bit more of me in it than some of the others, lol.

Okay, back to work, school, kids and, well, everything else. We're off to see some Zombie's at the movies today, so wish me luck.

Cheers,
Kris
